Ruth absolutely loves painting but to be honest, it gets so messy and out of control that I tend to save it for the playgroups, we attend together. That was until I discovered the joys of what I call “edible ice painting”. It is so simple, cheap and relatively mess-free, I cannot believe that I didn’t do it before. Just remember, if you add in glitter, it will no longer be edible.

What you need
Icing Sugar/powdered sugar
Optional: glitter/Food Coloring
Instructions for Painting
Add small amounts of hot water to the icing sugar and mix quickly until it reaches the consistency you want. Add in glitter or food coloring as desired. Paint!
Once the “paint” dries, it will be rock hard and look like 3D paint. It will easily wash off surfaces with hot water. Easy clean up ever!
