Tips For Getting The Perfect Valentine’s Footprint Craft
The last thing you want is to ruin your cute card idea with a messed up print but it can be tricky to get it right the first time.
Here are some tips for success:
- Pick a good time to make the craft. For tiny babies, you could even do it when they are asleep.
- Next, consider where you will do the craft. For older toddlers, keeping them in a high chair is the best way to get a good print.
- Unless you are working with salt dough, make sure to use child-safe ink pads or washable paint
- Wait to add any googly eyes or embellishments until the ink is completely dry. (I normally wait for the following day).
