The Best Essential Oils For PCOS
Clary Sage
Clary sage is perfect for PCOS. It helps to balance hormones and regulate the menstrual cycle. It also tones the uterus in preparation for implantation.
Lavender Oil
A natural relaxant, lavender promotes great sleep and calm. It may help alleviate menstrual cramps and PMS.
Spearmint Oil
I love spearmint oil for PCOS as it smells great and it perfect for using in beauty products and even in your household cleaners.
Frankincense
Not just for Christmas, frankincense is a fertility powerhouse and is great for treating hormone imbalances.
The smell is pretty heavy so its great for a rollerball but not as popular in a diffuser.
Yarrow
Yarrow is not as well known as some of the other essential oils for PCOS.
It may help to regulate your cycle and is perfect for women who have trouble ovulating.
Geranium
This sweet-smelling oil is another cycle regulator that is awesome for those long PCOS cycles. It is a great oil to add to your diffuser for a lovely smelling home.
3 Ways To Use Essential Oils For PCOS
Diffuse
An essential oil diffuser is an easy way to get started with oils. You simply add water and several drops of your chosen oil and the diffuser will create a mist that permeates throughout your house.
I like to use them instead of scented candles.
Apply
You can create your own DIY Fertility Essential Oil Blend using essential oils mixed with a carrier oil such as almond or jojoba oil.
Ingest
Some essential oils can be taken orally by adding a few drops to your tongue or a glass of water.
I do not recommend this method as it can be dangerous depending on the oils you use.
